Excellent bibimbap!!!! Not much to add to the other reviews. The dolsot (hot clay earthenware bowl) crisps the rice and cooks the eggs absolutely perfectly. 1000% will come back!
Heads up to people not familiar with the area - better to take a car here as parking is limited and unless you speak Korean a difficult neighborhood to navigate. Also, the restaurant is very non descript, but don't be deceived. Totally worth it! If you're wondering - they take credit cards. -

So I never liked bibimbap but I was told I just never went to the right places to try bibimbap. I have to say that I was impressed here.
I tried the Kalbi and Kimchi bibimbap. The highlight was the quality and flavor of the meat. I enjoyed both dishes and see how different it is from all the...tofu places I have ordered this dish from.
I did not love all the sides and it is quite pricey for what you get but would go back. -

This is the spot in koreatown if you want to eat Korean hot pot mixed rice.
You even get a mini tasting of the kimchi janchi noodle as a free appetizer. It's simple and yum which is a great holdover when you are suoer hungry and waiting for your bibimbap.
I usually get the GALBI or KIMCHI dolsot bibimbap which are my faves. -

Best bibimbap I've ever had. They really make the stone pot hot, so the rice gets extra crispy, super fast. I hate it when the stone isn't hot enough because the rice gets mushy instead of crispy.
Can't go wrong with the Kalbi bibimbap. I like it a lot better than with gogi.
Wifey had the kimchi jigae. Really good if you like your soup pungent.
The ahjuhmas (lady workers) are the nicest I've ever had at a Korean restaurant. They seemed like they were having a legitimately good time, which out everyone else in the restaurant in a good mood. -

I'm never one to order bibimbap when I'm eating out, but randomly had a strong craving for it and didn't feel like making it at home so the craving/search led me here.
Jeon Ju's speciality is "gourmet" bibimbaps. Gourmet because they offer premium ingredient options like galbi and soicy octopus (in place of the most standard ground beef).
Galbi dolsot bibimbap was hearty, traditional in flavors where it needed to be, had tons of galbi pieces, and fully satisfied my craving. Galbi was well seasoned and yummy (although a few pieces were too chewy/dry), but overall bomb and upgraded the bibimbap. Lots of veggies. Make sure to get the dolsot version to get that additional crispiness on the rice as you eat.
